Brad S. Burlew, MD, FACC, FCCP

Dr. Brad Burlew brings unique perspectives to the practice of Cardiology.  A graduate of General Motors Institute, he left a promising career as a General Motors research and development engineer to study medicine at Northwestern University. After Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital culminating with Chief Medical Resident status, he completed a Cardiology fellowship and obtained board certification not only in Cardiovascular Disease, but also in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Burlew was also among the first wave of cardiologists trained in the new specialty of Interventional Cardiology.

Elizabeth Burlew, MSN, APRN, ACNP

Elizabeth Burlew is an acute care nurse practitioner specializing in General Cardiology with more than 30 years’ experience caring for patients with cardiovascular disease.  She began her professional career studying Slavic languages at the University of Michigan.  After completing a master’s degree in Critical Care Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, she served as a clinical nurse specialist in Critical Care/Cardiology for over 16 years at the Regional Medical Center and Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.   She eventually completed post master’s work for certification as an acute care nurse practitioner.
