Why Elko Cardiology Associates?

Over the course of more than 30 years of academic cardiology, Dr. Burlew has taught and practiced the art and science of clinical cardiology. After decades of teaching, research and practice at the university level, he made the decision to “return to his roots” and leave the big city. He was encouraged by a number of patients from Northeastern Nevada to consider coming to Elko to start a practice here.

Our attention to the Elko community inspired us to open a practice here. In October of 2012, Elko Cardiology Associates was launched as an independent, local practice with the goal of providing the highest caliber of care to cardiac patients in this area.
